Had it not been for the aforementioned, you could easily look past the unfavorable camera angles in closed spaces and its vaguely developed premise. Unfortunately, as it is, this Mechanism still needs a bit more oiling to function properly.. True clunker ahead.- Worst camera imaginable. Wrong position, bad frustum or FoV, shaky, unstable, constantly zooming in and out, and blurring like you wouldn't believe. It doesn't only mess with my stomach, it also gives me a headache.- Broken settings menu with inaccessible options only lead me to make things worse.- Broken controls, with robot moving forward on its own. To its death, of course, so you can redo a lot of crap because...- ...No free save. That revolutionary feature that requires 1 more neuron and less coding effort, and makes pretty much every other shortcoming bearable.Dev claimed those bugs were fixed, in the forum. They were not. I waited 6 months and came back. Still not fixed. No update. Looks like Dev took the money and ran.Don't bother.. I think i'm in love with you&the game.I read a lot about you and the story of this game. I'm amazed. U have done so good job with the Unity engine. And as far as i know you're only 23 years old. Well done! I have not played this game enough to say anything valid about the story, but so far it's just thrilling.I hate to point out flaws cos they are imo easy to fix, but do something about the camera. Maybe slow down the movement pace a bit (i don't mean the mouse speed but on some corners the cam moves too fast while trying to "aim" on somehting) And like someone already pointed out, the noclip issues. Dsr support is missing too cos no support yet for fullscreen?Those are just trivial downsides and have nothing to do with the actual gameplay and the story which are great.I'm so sold. I want to tell you a little story that "created" this game in some way. Why I started to make games? People ask me this question quite sometimes. Well first of all, I loved to draw in my childhood, and when I became older I also started to play some music on a cheap classical guitar. And somewhere when I was 19 I found out that all forms of art are inspiring my heart and soul, so I just found the work in which all forms of art can be mixed to create some quintessential piece of art - video games. I'm 23 now, and this is my second serious game and I really hope that it is not only bring me some money but give me some fans of my creativity. Why I need this? Because I have deep problems with my parents, and these problems all concerning my games-creating process, they just don't believe me that I can achieve something with it. That makes me depressed, so I just hope that you can help me to overcome these difficulties with you spreading some info about this game. P.S. MECHANISM - First devlog on Steam: Okay, so I make devlogs not very regulary on a websites like gamejolt and itch.io and thought that may be it is might be interesting also for you guys(if you came not from those places):3For the last week I made a very important change in the core gameplay. Those who played the demo of Mechanism noted that main hero loses objects from hands when goes to the next location. At first I thought that the game will be linear, location after location and there will be no need in transfering quests objects. But now, this is no longer linear. It is almost like metroidvania now. Like a "Souls" game with no hand-combat but with sneaking, puzzles, and horror (I know there were no horror in the demo, cause I didn’t put it in it). So all locations of the game are interconnected with each other, and you can transfer all objects between them. It plays twice more interesting now! I am super glad that I made this choice.Hmmm. What about you guys? Yep, soon I will make a new updated demo, where you can try it youself and help me with the bugs. I will place the link here. I don't want to publish the demo right on Steam, I will make appropriate demo before release. Until then, stay tuned!
